Payway Acknowledged by Visa for Commitment to Security
Payway Receives Revalidation and is Placed on the Visa Global Registry of Service Providers for Tenth Year
Payway has been acknowledged by Visa, Inc. for demonstrating its commitment to compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is the tenth year Payway has been acknowledged by Visa for its commitment to security and listed in the Visa Global Registry of Service Providers. The Visa Global Registry of Service Providers is the payment industry’s designated source for information on registered and compliant agents that provide payment-related services to Visa clients and merchants. Inclusion on the Visa Global Registry of Service Providers indicates that the service provider successfully validated PCI DSS compliance with an on-site assessment, based on the report of an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), and has met all applicable Visa program requirements.
Ongoing compliance with PCI DSS is critical to maintaining a strong defense against compromises of cardholder data. Service providers that store, process or transmit Visa cardholder data must be registered with Visa and demonstrate PCI DSS compliance. PCI DSS compliance validation is required every 12 months for all service providers.
